Soul Sanctuary

Location: 1111 Chevrier Blvd

Phone: 226.2324 or 223.8649

Website: www.soulsanctuary.ca

Description: Best classified as a "modern and visual" church. Quite a few people go here, and the majority of them are under 60. Most of them are mid-20s to early-30s with children, but there are a lot of college and career singletons and high schoolers too. The pastor is pretty cool and very approachable. His sermons are interesting to listen to and include a good balance of historical facts, explanation of context and verses, and life applications. Staff members have found it to be a very "real" church and have gotten to know a lot of new people by going there.

Service Times: Sunday services meet at 9:09 am and 11:11 am, and there's a high school youth group for grades 8-12 that meets Fridays at 7:30 pm.

Immanuel Pentecostal Church

Location: 955 Wilkes Avenue

Phone: 489-9000

You'll here worship songs mixed in with hymns, and the message each week comes from one of a couple pastors, who each have their own style. Their youth group meets on Fridays at 7:30 pm in the youth room at the church.

Service Times: Services on Sunday are at 11:00 am and 6:00 pm and each service is a little bit different.
